Athlete Stories

Different starting points. Coaching built around the athlete.

  • I couldn’t get past 43m but knew I had a bigger distance in me. I reached out to JVLN Performance and within 6 weeks I jumped to 48m. They provided a programme, weekly calls and technical changes.

  • I love how Maggie and Sam tailor workouts just for me and don’t provide a generalized workout. … I’ve also improved so much technically working with them, and my PR has improved by 5 meters.

  • Through their coaching, I have learned that throwing far does not simply mean throwing harder. It is about hitting the right positions at the right time and efficiently transferring power into the javelin.

Coaching Questions

Still deciding? Tell us where you are training now and what you are aiming at.

Ask us a question

Can coaching fit around a full-time job?

Yes. Maggie held a full-time job through two Olympic Games, so this is familiar ground. We build your program around the hours you actually have to train, and we schedule your calls for evenings or weekends when that works better for you.

Do you work with international athletes?

Yes. We coach athletes internationally through video calls, footage review, and ongoing communication. We’ll confirm time-zone overlap before starting live coaching. All listed prices are in US dollars.

What if I’m returning after time away?

Tell us about your time away, current training, and goals. We’ll discuss an appropriate starting point and the support that fits where you are now.

Do I need to be pursuing elite competition?

No. Your goal matters whether it’s a personal best, returning to competition, or competing internationally.

What happens after I purchase?

After checkout, we’ll reach out with your onboarding steps and arrange a time to meet. We’ll learn about your goals, current training, and schedule so we can get started together.

Keep building toward what’s next.
